The comprehensive trauma care centre at National Hospital is equipped to deal polu trauma and any medical contingency. The 24 hours casualty services has trained casualty specialist aided by superior facilities for resuscitation and stabilization of the patients. The departments of General surgery, Orthopedics & Plastic surgery, ENT, Ophthalmology & Maxillo facial surgery, CardioThoracic surgery & Neuro surgery complement the  comprehensive care of the critically injured patients. This is done so as to achieve the lowest mortality & morbidity with also a view to reduce the hospital stay & in effect reduce the patient’s financial burdens & assure of a functional outcome. For all these are 4 OR’s with high tech equipments & a team of well experienced Anesthesiologists supported by Post operative ward & Surgical ICU with well trained dedicated staff & complemented by Physiotherapy department for early mobilization & discharge.
