The following are the activities of the department on a day to day basis .

• Orthopaedic: Arthroplasty ( Joint Replacement ) management, Back Pain (spondylosis, low back ache, prolapsed disc, sciatica etc), congenital as well as developmental disorder, rheumatic diseases, regional conditions (of shoulder, spine, joints in the body) , arthritis, abnormal gait; fracture, dislocations and other traumatic injuries post operative management.
• Neurology & Neurosurgical: Stroke, Parkinson’s disease, neuralgic pain, spinal cord and brain injury, multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer’s disease , Guillian – Barre Syndrome, Bell’s palsy, Motor neuron disease , Brown –Sequard syndrome, nerve lesions, Transverse Myelitis , Muscular dystrophy , Charcot Marie Tooth disease and post operative management following various neurosurgeries.
• Cardiothoracic: Cardiac or pulmonary surgery, Cystic fibrosis, Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) – Bronchial Asthma, Bronchiectasis, Chronic bronchitis, Emphysema ; Pneumonia, allergic conditions and post operative bronchial care.
• Paediatric: Foot deformities (CTEV), Flat foot, Meningitis, Poliomyelitis, Cerebral palsy, Congenital Torticollis, Erb’s & Klumpke’s palsy.
• Neo-natal: Lung collapse , respiratory problems chest inflections.
• Gynecology & Obstetric: Prenatal as well as post natal exercises, inflammation of pelvis, Endometriosis, Fibroid uterus.
• Geriatrics:  Loss of body balance, frequent falls, osteoporosis, muscle fatigue, general body weakness , joint pain and stiffness.
• Surgical: Pre-operative and post operative cases of Hernias, Gastrectomy, Adrenalectomy, Colostomy, Ileostomy , Genito-urinary surgeries , Mastectomy, Thyroidectomy , Amputation cases.
• Sports injury rehabilitation: Soft tissue injuries , sprains, strains, Tennis elbow, Golfer’s elbow, general muscle weakness, re-construction of ACL, PCL, meniscus and ligament injuries .
• Obesity: Knee pain, Ankle pain, Plantar Fascitis, weight reduction etc.
• Posture related problems: Prolonged sitting, pregnancy, occupational and computer related disorders.
